Trump blew his cover
Trump is a democrat. He got mad and accidentally blew his cover in the last debate with the George Bush lied line.

i don't know about your newspapers in your area, but every major paper in montana, i am reading 6 distinct papers, has an informal poll that lists about 8 items asking which is the main concern this election. in every case Immigration is the top vote getter of the choices, nearly doubling the next
health care..these average at least 1000 votes.. thats why Trump is leading, his stance on illegal immigration0 -

The Trump supporter isn't exactly big on facts or details. It is frightening how many ignorant people exist in this country.
The truly ignorant are the folks that catogorize a "supporter" as ignorant. It shows a true lack of intellect or the ability to put yourself in someone else's shoes.
I can understand why people are atracted to the message Trump is selling. Trump is correct when he says that illegal immigration, Islamic extremism, economic growth and development...and a host of other topics would be getting minimum lip service at best had he not made the clear, though blustering statements he has. His message and those topics resonate with a large part of the electorate.
That said, I am not sure why other candidates have not been able to improve the delivery of his message, and widen the appeal. I can understand and appreciate the disgust and disillusionment with what is called the Establishment. Lord knows they have earned every bit of it. But if ultimately the goal is to replace the leadership, it will take better leadership, not blustering and bravado.
Trump's message is the answer. Trump is not, and we will face serious consequences if we don't take his message forward with better messengers.
Well stated, but haven't we been living 24/7 with serious consequences all of our lives, literally?0 -
Sadam invaded Kuwait and Saudis were next on his list. 0 -
I'll gamble on trump before I will a career politician. That said, I'll vote for whomever the nominee is.
Will you anti-trumpeters vote for trump if he is nominated?0 -

Reasonable people can live with a war, but perpetual warring and nation building, which means using the constitution as toilet paper, open borders, cheap labor, and funding a world police force is not and never will be the "traditional" American way.0 -

His 'stance' is attractive. It would more so to more people if it went past a stance into a plan with details and specifics.

I just can't.
I could never vote for a big government leftist who is proud of his efforts to manipulate the system.0 -

A Trump supporter can't even tell you what Trump stands for, because Trump can't tell you what he stands for. A slogan "making America great again" is not standing for something, it is a slogan. Hell, Hitler told the people of Germany in 1938 that he wanted to make Germany great again.0 -

I have said before, if the GOP makes the mistake of giving Trump the nomination, they will have lost me as a GOP voter yet again. I don't want another McCain or Romney candidate that does not respect the rule of the constitution. Period. And so, if Trump gets the nod, I will indeed vote 3rd party again.0 -
Well y'all watched Ross Perot an x CEO of the largest corporation in America tell y'all about the giant sucking sound of the companies leaving America. No one payed attention to a business man he lost a nomination, and guess what...companies left. Trump is a business man and a very smart one at that. However some folks Hate success and to see a wealthy person do good. Just how do you think they got that way? Being dumb is not the answer. Trump is a leader not a follower. His overwhelming attitude is a lot of frustration how the people of America were fooled by the past and the way Washington has become. 0 -

Isn't that drum getting a little worn, Mr. Fire?
Sure some folks don't like Trump because of his wealth. Those folks support Bernie Sanders. Many of us don't like Trump because of what he says, does and is as a candidate for President. I couldn't care less as to his net worth.
The comparison to Ross Perot is insulting to Mr. Perot. Take a little time to see how Perot built his wealth and what he did to get his folks home from Iran around the time of the revolution. Perot, for all his warts was a man of honor deserving of respect.
Trump? Not so much.0 -
There is no way Trump will get my vote.
I'll bet he goes 3rd Party.0 -

Mr. vegan, you missed the thought. Both are business men. Running the country as a business and not a political circus is what we need.0 -
Bush Jr. went after Saddam and Iraq because Saddam threatened his daddy, he just needed an excuse to go to war and the WMDs were it as he didn't care if it was true or not.
My opinion on Trump and is still my opinion. Trump says and states facts that the others don't want to.
Poor ole Jeb trying to bring Bro into to it to help him. That is as bad as Hillary bringing slick in to try and help her.0 -

He is tapping into the same nationalist fervor, emotion not substance. Trump is a liberal, always has been, always will be. He supports abortion, raising taxes on the job creators, Obamacare and liberal judges. He says he'll build a wall but supports amnesty. He's a liberal, if you want to vote for a liberal that is your perogative. I will not vote for him period. He IMO is not much different than Hillary Clinton. His entire campaign is based on not having any core values and the ability to make deals. Well Ia m not interested in someone that has no core values and is only interested in making deals.0 -

Trump is running as a Republican in name only...he is really "running" as an independent...he is going after the middle/independant voter but is really after the digusted dems and repubs...and there are plenty of them...the numbers speak for themselves0 -

They are very different types of businessmen, Mr. Fire.
One, for example, did not declared bankruptcy four times and screw the small business vendors that served his establishments via stock transfers to satisfy the bankers. Again, Ross Perot was an honorable and patriotic American businessman in the best way. Trump is a different type of businessman entirely.
I may have missed something, perhaps, but it was way too superficial to be considered thought.0 -

Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, Tom Steyer, and Michael Bloomberg are also businessmen, successful, and undeniably smart.
Would you like to see them running the country based on the criteria you set, or would you like to take another stab at critical thinking?0 -

I do wonder where this theory took hold that being a good business man, making lots of money translates to being prepared to be the President of the greatest country in the free world. He demonstrates time and time again that he does not have the temperament for the job. Trump has yet to demonstrate an appreciation or understanding of the Constitution. It amazes me that his supporters here, don't even question this about him.0 -
He'll learn all that stuff on the job like the last prez. He's gonna be the nominee unless someone else can tap in the way he did. I wouldn't pick him as my first choice but I sure as hell won't sit at home and give it to the democrats like some here. Pathetic really. 0 -
I'll bet that this forum is full of establishment socialist progressives like Bush, McCain, Graham, and Rubio, who put their conservative values secondary to their agendas. [xx(] And, if the truth be known there might be a skunk democrat here as well. 0 -

Mr. Vegan, Mr. Perot didn't speak up enough to win the election. I see no problem with Trump doing it. He is telling the American people what they are afraid to say about their govt. Make no mistake he will straighten out some of the mess this country is in. Won't be easy but Mr. Perot couldn't get his point across. That is the difference in the two0 -
This year, I will be voting AGAINST the Democratic party candidate. Pretty simple. Whichever GOP candidate stands the best chance, gets my vote. No GOP candidate will ever perfectly mirror my values. But, they come closer than any Democratic candidate I have ever come across. 0 -
