Win. mod. 97 stock questions

Did the "take down" model have the same stock a the "solid frame" model? Also did the 12 ga. differ from the 16 ga.? Thanks

  I will assume that you are asking about the butt stock? If so, the butt stocks were the same regardless of the frame type for the 12-ga guns. I do not know for sure if the 16-ga guns were different, but my rudimentary measurements indicate that they also are the same as the 12-Ga.

  Yep, Winchester parts list shows same # for 12 & 16 buttstock, solid and take-down.. The 12 & 16 have different frame #, but same stock.. Also same part # for forend wood (Action bar handle)..
