I keep getting e-mail under the GunBroker heading with stuff like:
"At the last minute ? I?ve decided to give out this $3,184 limited edition Colt Python Gun FREE."
Is this some sort of scam?

Viruses are not carried in the body of the e-mail, but never, ever open an attachment, nor click to go to the site of the ad. 99% of the time, if you did not go looking for it, you don't want it. 0 -
I received it and as Mark G said, it is just one of GB's advertising gimmicks. These plugs are unrelated to the forums or the auctions so that you can go the bottom of the page, below Connect with the GunBroker.com community, and unsubscribe without changing any of your accounts. 0 -
like to find a way that an incoming email that i have blocked, bounces off the inbox and vanishes so i do not have to go thru the steps to clean it out of inbox or junk to block...also would like to bounce off the inbox are the emails addressed to me THAT show as being sent by me ....grrrrr 0 -
Some e-mail providers allow you to go to settings and automatically delete spam as it comes in. My GunBroker email provides allows that. 0
