Sterling/Sten magazine question

Traded into a Sterling SMG clone by Wise Lite. I read somewhere that the Sterling was made to work with Sten mags. The mag well on this one is marked MK4 and L2A3. Having trouble finding that info online, of course when I read it originally all we had was books! Thanks for any info.
