No clue I'm not into plastic guns or 9mm but google found this

    http://www.gunsandammo.com/news/sig-sauer-p320-public-service-announcement/

there are severel youtube vids I didn't look at due to lack of interest in the topic.

Isn't this the new US wonder pistol to replace the last wonder pistol that replace an actual pistol IMHO.

Since the U.S. Army adopted it this year. To replace the Beretta, that we have been using since the 80's. It's probably better than a Hi-Point. But how much is questionable?

I never owned a Hi-Point, but have shot other people's. They always worked, and are way heavy. Being made of die cast Zinc.

The Army would have saved a bundle by adopting the Hi-Point, as our service pistol. Using it as a club, if ammo ran out. Way better in that respect, compared to the SIG.

Just because the US Army adopted it does not mean it is any good. There are issues of it going off when dropped, and other reliability issues. It seems that Sig undercut everyone, including themselves to get the contract, including themselves. They are going to be loosing millions of dollars, in recalls/retrofits, training, and not to mention, they are selling the pistol to the military for less than they can build it for.

If you are looking for reliability in combat Tupperware, Glock is still the golden standard by which All(steel framed pistols, including the 1911's, included) other's are judged. S&W, and FN are very close, with Springfield, coming in a close 3rd place.

As to the Military purchasing these just remember you are dealing with the brain trust at the Pentagon
