I'd be asking them. You don't see many break actions in 7mm Rem mag. Most 45-70's in break actions say factory loads only.

I don't think they do the barrel installation anymore but the Handi Rifle (SB2) manual shows what they were factory offered in. This might give you some idea.

I've got a barrel in 500 S&W magnum and really I think the greater velocities comes from using a rifle barrel for these handgun cartridges, I think they stopped making barrels before the 460 S&W magnum came into play so where are you planning to get the barrel from ?

I may not be correct but it is My understanding the .454 is to much pressure for the system. So that rules out the .460 as it can also chamber the .454.

well you can try asking them but if you are the builder/manufacturer then you are responsible for design engineering R&D

And let's not forget that the handgun bbl utilizes progressive gain twist rifling in order to stabilize the bullet...

Don't know whether the rifles bbls need to follow the same scheme in order to do well with factory ammo...

I believe my carcano carbine also has progressive gain twist rifling - not a common design method.

my personal belief is " just because you could doesn't mean you should "
there is a lot of responsibility that goes along with manufacturing.
