I have a Standard Arms in .30rem. They made the model "G" and the model "M". The model "G" has a gas tube that goes past the forearm and the model "M" does not. I have one with a 2-digit serial number, that is a pump only (model "M") but it has a tube that goes past the forearm. Looks like a model "G" but is pump only, no place to switch it from pump to gas. So, I guess my question is did they make any customs? or is this mixed parts gun? The upper & lower have matching serial numbers. Thanks for any help, Louie

  You might consider, using the search function. As I recall, we've had a number of topics started over the years regarding the various Standard rifles. One guy who contributed, was a collector and had extensive knowledge regarding them. They company itself wasn't successful, and was in business for only a short time. Over 100 years ago.
