Taurus Tracker Holster?
I have a Taurus Tracker in .44 Magnum with a 2" barrel, what are you guys using for holsters for that?
Mostly will be used during camping, hiking, fishing trips.
Thanks, Bill

sorry to get off the subject on your question but wow2 inch 44 Mag
I bet that will light up the state at night when it goes off0 -
For the activities you describe, I would suggest a holster with a flap to cover and protect the whole gun. 0 -
I had a 6" 629 I couldn't stand to shoot a whole box compared to 500 rounds in my 10 5/8 29.
There is front carry (chest) rig designed for Alaska. I would make one like this.

I did make a fully lined flapped belt holster for my 6" model 53 22 Jet, does a very nice job protecting the pistol. Not quick draw but easy enough to put the pistol in action with one hand.0 -
Check out Purdy Gear. Karla makes a lot of holster types, including many belt holsters (Askins is my favorite) and a fine chest rig a bit like a Sam Brown belt I use for my back up when hunting.
