I did not receive an email message from you this past Friday ?
Based on what I am seeing in the pictures you have posted thus far, my money is still on a mismatched barrel assembly installed on the receiver assembly. How well does it cycle and feed cartridges?0 -
Mr Smitty, your photos do not appear in your posts. I believe that you are trying to post directly from your computer; you must first upload to a photo host site, & add to your post from there.
Before you hit the POST button, press the PREVIEW button. If your photos don't appear in the preview, they won't appear on your post.

Email was sent through forum ,not sure why you didn't receive it.
I don't think it's been tested for function yet other than hand cycling which worked fine.

From your photo's, and I am not going to sugar coat it, the front barrel half of the rifle, and the rifles receiver, are not a match. The fitting sucks, and is not how Winchester would have let this leave the factory. You(or someone) has two mismatched halves.
Furthermore, being the betting man that I am, I would be willing to bet that the barrel date stamp, under the forearm does not match the date that will be tagged to the serial number.0 -
The rifle is at My friend's shop who is the transferring FFL holder. His client purchased it from a well known source and was waiting on these opinions on whether to accept or not.
I have already told them the opinions so it up to him now.0 -
