    The government does not trust you with an open bolt semiauto, too easy to add selector.

    All 1921,(original)Colt 1927 semis, 1928, M1, and M1A1 TSMGs fired from an open bolt.

    All West Hurley and Kahr Mfg. guns are closed bolt
