Does the above named firearm fire from an open bolt? Thanks for any input.

No.
The government does not trust you with an open bolt semiauto, too easy to add selector.

The originals in ww2 did of course.

all open bolt/slam fire were ordered stop production 1981. you are allowed to own

"The originals in ww2 did of course."............not all, the m1a1 fired from a 'open' bolt the m-1928 did not both were used in ww2/korea/nam.

All 1921,(original)Colt 1927 semis, 1928, M1, and M1A1 TSMGs fired from an open bolt.

All West Hurley and Kahr Mfg. guns are closed bolt
