Beretta 92F locking block

I purchased used Beretta 92F Italian production and during cleaning locking block fell off. I was able to insert locking block back without removing plunger or a pin. Gun will assemble without a problems and overall pistol is in great shape. Is that usual for 92F or it is a some sign that block is warned out?

  The block can not fall out or damage anything while the pistol is in operation.
  
  It is fine.
