I can't help much.
Ulm = Postwar, after 1953.
PPK in USA = pre GCA 1968.0 -
Manurhin, (France). Manufacture. They started in 1955, @ #100305. Serial number data not broken down by year. But production terminated @ #266310A in 1985. 0 -

The guys are right. ALL post-war "German" PP's & PPK's were made in France until 1985, then shipped to the new Walther factory in Ulm, Donau. (Some guns were marked "Manurhin France" & sold directly by the factory.)
In the 1960's, many guns imported to the US were stamped "Interarms" in different locations with varying fonts.
If you had the original barrel, it would have the 2 digit year of manufacture. Since you don't have that, you can only estimate where it was in R-S's serial number range.
Other companies have been licensed by Walther post-war to manufacture PP's & PPK's.

Thanks for the input from all regarding the date of manuf for this item..
So.... if I understand the supplied info. from the other GB members at the "ASK THE EXPERTS" forum on this item?Walther PPK 380 ACP SLIDE / BARREL
Made in France, stamped ULM/DO, 1955 DOM SN # started at 100305? SN range ran for 30 yrs. and 1985 DOM SN # 266310A ended with last
produced pistol. ...
Approx. / estimated total for thirty ( 30 ) year production of 166,005 pistols.
Approx. or estimated one ( 1 ) year total pistols made of 5.461 per year/ 455 a month ( yr and month estimated production ) making the one I have ( SN # 1305XX) I believe a mid year 1960?s ??
Is this correct or is my math wrong ??0 -
Closer to 5,500 a year over 30 years. (Been many a moon, since I've been in school though)[:D] No telling if this estimate is correct? For each years actual production? 0 -

Doesn't always work out this way. Specially over a period of 30 years. They might have made 10,000 one year and none another.
There is at least one Walther forum, maybe more on the net? Use GOOGLE to find them. Post your question as to DOM. Somebody might know?0 -
