Noble Mod. 60E shotgun dissasembly
..Yeah, it's an old beater I got in a trade. The wood is
nice but not so the metal.
..It needs a good scrubbing but I can't find any detailed
instructions with pics to help me take it apart. Anyone
ever see anything online that would help?

S & W bought out Nobel in the early 70's. Sold their pump shotgun, under their name for a short time. It was such a turd, they dropped it really quickly.
You might be able to find disassembly instructions, under the S & W name. What ever it was, ( I can't remember because of my senioritas. [xx(]).
Personally I wouldn't even try to take it apart. If it works, your ahead of the game. So many had problems with them way back when, it was a freaken joke. Folks just laughed at the guys who bought them, because they were genuwine S & W's.
EDIT #1,
Be sure you get disassembly instructions for the correct S & W pump shotgun. Because after S & W dropped the Nobel. They sold a Japanese made pump that was a quality gun compared to the Nobel.0 -
I think they are straight forward but it was long time ago.

Dale, the S&W Model was the 916, same gun as the Nobel. Then they contracted to Howa to build their Model 1000 auto, and 1000P pump that were modified versions of the Rem 1100, and 870.

Why disassemble it? Just spray cleaner in it or soak it then spray lube into it. 0 -
..A belated thanks to you guys. Yeah, the gun is an
obscure turd. I wasn't aware of the S&W connection.
The only reason I took it was because the recoil pad
is a Jostam, made in my home town, Peotone IL. I'd
never heard of Jostam or that our little town made
pads sold worldwide. Come to find out, I knew some of
the extended family that ran the company. Very cool.0 -
Hey Dale, be careful as those parts are BRITTLE, nad I mean that. Don't ask me how I know. The pad is probably the best part on it.
Thanks for the info on the pad,,,interesting. I drove by that town many times while living in Rochelle and coming back south,0 -
..Walt, you're forgetting our long ago correspondence.
We passed so close to each other and never knew. I'm
only 1 1/2 miles off of I-57.
..I think I've fired it maybe 10 times in 15 years and
it's so stiff it's pathetic. I can only imagine how long
the gummy oil has been in there collecting dust.0 -
