Savage 311-A Parts Question
What Numrich lists as the Ejector Screw part #40. Does anyone know whaqt thread pitch this is. #6 is to small and #8 to big. Outside diameter of the piece removed is .150.

Some industries use special sized fasteners, particular to their own usage.

Manufacturers have at times used non-standard screw thread sizes. If indeed the major diameter of the thread is .150 it might be designated as a #7 thread, which ranges from .144 to .151. That size is hard to find in any screw thread chart. Could be 32, 36 or 40 tpi. 0 -
