Zeiss Zielklein Scope
Hello All,
Having picked up a Zeiss Zielklein scope I'm trying to find the current value of it. The Stroebel books are terrific for description but todays market and rarity of some things make it a little harder go on. Looking online can't come up with anything newer than 5yrs old. This scope is at least 95% clean inside and out. It's got the No.1 reticle plus connected leather end caps.
Thanks for your help.
Jim

Last Stoeger Catalog, before the war, (1940), has them listed. They were the bottom of the Zeiss line. Made for "small caliber", sporting arms.
Because of the above don't seeing it being a high value item. Unless in being in excellent original condition, including optics.
If you had one of the larger scopes, used on the 98 k snipers. It would be much more valuable.
Flea bay would be your best route for pricing and selling it. Likely if excellent and original? Buyers from the fatherland, would be your best bet0 -
This scope is in excellent original condition, including optics with the post reticle. It could nearly pass for new.
Any particular model scope for the 98k?
Thanks for your help.0 -

Believe the Zeiss Zielvier and Zielsechs, although commercial scopes. Were used on the 98 K's. At least during the early years, of W W II.
They were very high quality, and expensive scopes. Selling for between $70 & $80, in the Stoeger's catalog. In the same catalog. Top of the line, Colt National Match 45 target pistols. Were going for 50 bucks.0
