How Old is this Knife
Interesting multi purpose knife with stag slab jigged bone slabs. Marked B. Shackman & Co Made in Japan on one blade and Shackman Japan at base of 2 blades. Fairly large and heavy (5 inches long all closed up).
B. Shackman is obviously the importer, but wondering how old it might be? Just know for sure more than 60 years old.
Can't find anything similar so far. (Inserted photo but don't see it yet)
edit: used better glasses, and corrected name as stated below it is Shackman not Sharkman

Lots of different brands of what I say is a GERMAN"S design hunting knife I have a number of different brands that are of the same general design I would think around post WW II in age. 0 -
So could it actually be a B. Shackman & Co. import, in biz since 1898. 0 -

And since I can narrow down to definitely pre-1957, then 1952-1957 it is. Thanks!0 -
