Ruger Barrel Question

Is the threads on a Old Model Vaquero the same as a New Model ?
Say 45 cal.

  I doubt it because the frame size of the new vaquero is different than the old version. I have an original version and it's on a full size Blackhawk frame and can handle "Ruger only" loads. The new Vaquero in .45 Colt isn't rated for +p stuff. The new version is closer in size to a Colt SAA. Are you looking for a barrel?
