Looks like a sub caliber insert device for a single shot TC. 38/357? to 22 LR. Gun needs to change from center to rim fire

Did TC make something like this? Can't find any info of this type/kind barrel anywhere.

Looks home built to me. Figure out what the outside of the chamber is made to fit 38 Special/357?

It would sell as a better chamber adapter because it's rifled and is longer.

Sometimes when to much torque is used to tighten a set screw. A burr is raised in the area, the set screw is tightened.

Soak it in liquid wrench or Kroil, for a couple of days. Clamp it in a vise with wooden or plastic jaws. With the part you want to remove above the tightened jaws. Use a large diameter brass punch, so you won't mess up the end of the barrel. Hit the brass punch with a heavy ball peen hammer. It should move unless it was put on with red locktight.

Measure the diameter and length of the chamber portion on the end. With a dial caliper. To figure out, what was the parent cartridge or shell. The subcaliber 22 barrel, was intended to be used with. This information, would make it much more salable.
