Anyone Identify this 22 cal Pistol Barrel???
Bought this many years ago and have no idea what it fits?? The collar? with set screw on the end seems stuck/jammed where it is and not sure how to move it without ruining anything. It looks like by the set screw hole it was possibly farther up the barrel originally but not sure. Blueing an barrel look new, possibly never used, bore excellent. Total length is just under 8.5". 22 cal.

Looks like a sub caliber insert device for a single shot TC. 38/357? to 22 LR. Gun needs to change from center to rim fire 0 -

Did TC make something like this? Can't find any info of this type/kind barrel anywhere.0 -
Looks home built to me. Figure out what the outside of the chamber is made to fit 38 Special/357?
It would sell as a better chamber adapter because it's rifled and is longer.0 -
Sometimes when to much torque is used to tighten a set screw. A burr is raised in the area, the set screw is tightened.
Soak it in liquid wrench or Kroil, for a couple of days. Clamp it in a vise with wooden or plastic jaws. With the part you want to remove above the tightened jaws. Use a large diameter brass punch, so you won't mess up the end of the barrel. Hit the brass punch with a heavy ball peen hammer. It should move unless it was put on with red locktight.
Measure the diameter and length of the chamber portion on the end. With a dial caliper. To figure out, what was the parent cartridge or shell. The subcaliber 22 barrel, was intended to be used with. This information, would make it much more salable.0
