I have an older pre md 34 I frame with the flat latch ser. no. 29744
can someone tell me the DOM please.

Your best source for Smith and Wesson is the Standard Catalog of Smith and Wesson. As far as I know it isnot available on line for free

S&W serial numbers are not always in neat annual blocks in SCSW, but if you post the model and SN somebody will surely look it up for you.

S&W MIGHT tell you if you call them up, I know Colt will if the number is not in their online database. Otherwise, it would require a factory letter which takes Roy Jinks several months to get around to.
