Kasinite ???

I haven't used mine for years......What are methods of the case hardening with it....

  First, you need to have all of your part prep and fitting completed. To include polish if needed.
  
  Heat the part to a cherry red and dunk it in the Kasenite making sure to get a thorough coating. Re-heat the part to cherry red and hold at that color for a couple minutes and then quench in water. Make sure to keep the part moving through the water to help prevent steam/air bubbles from forming.
  
  I'm not sure if Kasenite works the same as Hard-N-Tuff. With H-N-T you can make repeated applications prior to quenching to get a deeper case.

  Correct- it's Kasenit. It used to be called Casenit.
  
  I think kasenite is what makes Iron Man very weak.
  
  Well.... my wife got it, anyway.
