Looks like a threaded muzzle with a thread protector installed. I would expect it to fit a P-229. I have BarSto's for both my 229 and 239 for caliber switch 40/357 Sig, excellent barrels!
EDIT: I just pulled the barrels from my P-229, the BarSto in 357 Sig is:3.846" from muzzle crown to the rear face of the barrel hood, the Sig factory barrel in .40 S&W is 3.841". I would have to believe that the barrels you are looking at are for a P-226, I sold mine so I can't verify. The family of Sig pistols that share that cam form include: P-220, 225, 226, 228, 229 and 239 - only the 226, 229,and 239 come in .40 S&W and .357 Sig so that should narrow the search.0 -
Went threw my references most of the Sig Sauer centerfire barrels. Are either 3.9" (compact) or 4.4" (standard), for most of their cam lock pistols. Being 40 S & W, they would have to be specific models, made after 1990.
As the Bar-Sto appears to have a threaded extended barrel? It likely could have been made, for any of the standard 4.4" barreled pistols?
The Sig Sauer barrel at 4.239 puzzles me? It seems to short for the 4.4" barreled pistols. And too long for 3.9" pistols.
Sig Sauer made some plastic framed variants, for awhile. Maybe the 4.239" barrel, was for one of them?0 -

I took the thread cover off the BarSto and it now measures 4.69
Searched for pictures for the .40 Sig and found that it appears to be for a P226 and measures 4.239" from breech face to muzzle. Is this possible?0 -

The only 226 I have. Is the 226/22 variation. Overall barrel length, is 4.550. The Bar-Sto would be OK, for a 40 S & W 226. The other Sig Sauer barrel, still has me puzzled though?0 -
The P226 in the next room is 4 3/8" on a ruler. Probably 4.4" if I took it apart and put a caliper on it. 0
