Redfield peep sight on an 1894 with sn 130xxx

Hello, I'm wondering if a redfield peep could have been done at the factory. Not sure how old Redfield is. The gun is circa 1897. Can post pics if needed.

  Redfield dates, to the early 20th Century. Years after your 94 was made.

  Post some good pic's of the sight and the rifle. If you post the serial number maybe Burt would tell you about the factory configuration.
