Your best bet, if nobody responds. Would try to find someone, who has a copy of this book. It was written by one of our members, who has since passed away.

I e-mailed Bill Goforth a couple of times and he gave me DOM on two Ivers I have. Wish I had bought the book while it was available. If you remove one grip and see that the hammer spring is a leaf spring it was probably made before 1908. After that the spring would be coil. If its coil then its probably safe with factory rounds if its in good working condition.

Thanks much for that information. Like I said I've kicked myself for not buying it then.

Manufacture date appears to be 1906. I am not very familiar with Iver Johnson firearms, but I looked at the large safety hammer revolvers in .38 S&W.

In Goforth's book he show's: "letter codes as used on the safety automatic revolver .38 hammer." It only show's the T prefix for 1907 and 1908.
