    This is a WAG. It appears similar to the "penetrator" used in C02 guns to open the C02 cartridge.

    Re-built lot of CO2 guns - never saw a pin like that. Looks more like it holds on a spring loaded ejector on an old bolt action gun.

    You really should have something for scale like a quarter.

    added Way better pic's. +1 for thread check - gun threads tend to fine to extra fine

    Looks more like a needle valve in an old updraft carb.

    Check what those threads are. If they are not some pretty fine threads, it probably isn't gun related. It does look like a needle valve though, but there is actually no telling.
