Savage 11VT vs 12FV

Can anybody tell me the difference between these two models? The only obvious difference is the barrel nut is smooth.

  Off hand if I am looking at the same guns you are its barrel length, caliber choice,price, where you can buy them at. and the 11 vt has a detachable box magazine.
