Browning 22 ATD and Saltwootd

When discussing the saltwootd problem I have never heard of the problem with the 22 Auto Take Down. Is this a fact?

  I have seen saltwood on a T-bolt from that era. A quick check is to remove the butt plate screws and check for rust.
