250 xtp for 460 S&w

looking to load some 250 hornady's for my 460 and don't have any data. I will be using Winchester 209, new hornady brass and WLRM primers. thinking about starting at 40 grains and working up from there. any suggestions would be welcome

  IIRC Winchester 209 are primers
  
  296 is a powder.
  
  Freedom Arms has load data for the 454 Casull, just not for your specific bullet.

  sorry bout that,296 is the powder WLRM are the primers. helping get a kid outfitted for a muzzleloader hunt and got 209 on the brain

  The Hodgdon online loading data is a good place to look. They have a 250 gr Bar X using your powder and primers listed. Starting load is listed as 39 gr. 43,500 psi with max 41.5 gr at 56,800 psi.
