Darn it, just darn it.
Today was the last day of fishing my favorite lake until opening day Labor Day weekend. The gate will be locked starting tomorrow. It is 14 miles if the gate is open and over 50 if I take Hwy. 139 to my usual spot. No matter, fishing is closed and Eagle Lake here in NorCal is starting to freeze over. It was a good year. The coyotes and bobcats are getting hungry so I guess I will have to give them some attention until spring thaw begins. Life is rough when you are retired.[:)]
