SPAM -
Although this food item has been the source of much derision, have you noticed it has been sold out for months now?
I have apprx. 20 cans, so I am somewhat good. The only thing available has been "Low Fat SPAM." Apparently even Preppers will not eat that.
Thin sliced and browned with eggs and hashbrowns, good stuff.
If the regular stuff appears again, I would not be oppossed to another 20 cans.
How many cans of Tuna do you have? I'm at about 60. 😉

Taylor & Case pork roll are both in Trenton NJ. The UPS is kept busy with people shipping it frozen/overnight. There's so many transplants here at SML, the grocery stores "import" it. 0 -

I thought you were going to talk about e-mail spam. I was going to unleash the beast about "NEW DEALS" e-mail spam in my inbox I grew up on SPAM - father was in the Air Force, raising 3 kids while trying to pay $25,000 worth of credit card debt his first wife rang up before running back to England to her parents when he couldn't just up and leave Germany when she wanted to. We ate SPAM often - fried with eggs, on a sandwich, dinner fried up with potato, cheese, and egg. Its delicious and a comfort food nowadays. 0 -

If it's the same product as I saw on some TV foodie show, Taylor Ham and Pork Roll is virtually unknown - and unobtainable - outside of about one square mile of the New Jersey shore. It's almost a neighborhood-only company.
Taylor pork roll is in every food store in south Jersey and in the Philly area so is scrapple...
My day bought some last week - always in stock and there is store label brand and competitor brands as well for these products.
You can get both products in most diners and local eateries as well cooked and served hot...
Been that way I my area forever and then some.
Might be price or hard to locate or costly to ship or in demand beyond capacity in the rest of the world but not here - and I am as far away from the shore as possible.

I grew up in the S. Jersey / Philadelphia area. EVERY grocery and restaurant/Deli I visited, had Taylor Pork Roll on the menu. I live in SE Virginia now and local grocery stores all stock Taylor products. No Amoroso rolls. Kaiser rolls here are little more than reshaped Wonder bread ! I have to bake my own. Recipe available on line. If you never had any, Try making your own, you won't regret it ! A good hard Polish rye bread is a nice substitute. 0 -

Amoroso is now down the jersey shore and fled Philly and union thuggery - still thriving and the best roll god ever allowed - I use it on hamburgers and it's especially great with brisket...

I was a gold miner 30 miles from the middle of nowhere, and we had spam stacked everywhere in the cabin. It's "meat" and the bears can't smell it so they don't tear the cabin apart. Hotcakes in the morning, fried spam slices, maple syrup, work your ass off. Evening, boiled water, ramen, macaroni noodles and fake cheese, spam slices and soy. Sleep like a baby. Repeat. 0 -

Find it on youtube and watch Mike Rowe make Scarpple, Andrew Zimmern went to a liver Mush festival. He also made scrapple with the Appalachian "Hillbillies". 0 -
Haven't ever had the chance to try liver mush, but would leap at it. Scrapple is something I enjoy on my rare visits back to the Land of Liberal Madness. Scrapple I like; liberals not so much. 0 -

I believe the oink is the only thing not eaten. Bones used for soup stock, or ground for fertilizer and/protein at rendering plants.
Mmmnn, any kinda of bean soup made with homemade pork stock.

I went to the Spam museum in Austin MN several years back, and they had every variety of Spam there for sale. I believe it was 13. I bought one of each. I ate some over the last few years but I found the salt content was just too much for me. The Jalapeno was my favorite. I ended up throwing the remainder out before I moved. 0 -
