Another EC9s review

MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYONE!

I must have been a good boy, because Santa brought me one. Took it out back and fired about 24 rounds of bulk Remington ammo.
The good:
I don?t want to say this gun is accurate, but I was able to put all rounds into a 6? by 6? block of wood at 15 yds.
The trigger is good. Smooth even creep but a crisp let off.
It fits in my back pocket with little showing. I need a good concealment holster.
Most don?t, but I like the manual safety.
The slide is fairly easy to manipulate compared to some other small semis I?ve tried.
The not so good:
There is a sharp corner in the front of the trigger orifice that aggravates my trigger finger. It could be easily relieved with a file or rototool.
Because of the mass of the slide compared to the small frame, the recoil is stout but I like recoil. I like to feel it when I shoot a gun.
The slide release is impossible for my old hands. I had to take back the slide a little to release it. Maybe it?ll get better with wear.

All in all, it?s a good carry piece for me.
Without the magazine finger extensions, I?d be holding the gun with three fingers.

    I have the LC9s which is the same gun except for the sights, it's the one I usually take unless I need some thing smaller then it's my LCP 380, like you I have the safety version ,

    Agree on frame size to slide. I get same accuracy with my 9mm Shield (if not better) with my LC9, but Shield feels less recoil. LC9 is easier to conceal with the smaller frame and melted edges on the slide.

    After Christmas dinner today, my son-in-law, Grandson and Granddaughter's husband and I went to my neighbor's 125 yard range to burn off some powder (not calories[8D]). I have a LC9s, my SIL has a EC9s, and shooting the same ammo, I couldn't tell any difference in them except for the sight picture. We ran through at least 300 rds of everything from 380 to 308.
    My favorite has become the T/C Compass in 6.5 Creedmoor. It consistently prints <1" at 125 yards with almost any ammo, the best being Hornady Precision Hunter 143 grain. We all 4 could make groups that surprised us with their repeatability.

    Hey thanks for the review oh, I bought one for my daughter for Christmas and she was a good girl. But she hasn't received it yet, a whole family is going to get together the 27th 2 exchange presents this year because my son's divorced and doesn't have his sons until the 27th.

    She has been wanting a concealed carry firearm for about 4 or 5 years now. But every time she gets close to having the money, something happens in her life that she has to use that money for something else. So this year I decided I'll just get her one that way she has it. I hope she likes it, I didn't want to start asking her what she really wanted. But I wanted to get her something that could be used at the range for target practice, and something small enough to conceal...

    I bought several of them this year for other people for the birthdays. And they all like them, at least that's what they tell me.

    I picked up the one I bought for my daughter's Christmas present for $219 locally and didn't have to pay any transfer fees
