Christmas Tacos - (Merry Christmas All.)
Had a 12 pack a couple days ago. (Plus) A 4 pack of rolled chicken Tacos, (Taquitos) with guacamole, mixed with Tabasco.
So good, I'm going to be going out to get a repeat, here shortly.

They were out of lettuce. (Are you freakin' kidding me?) I asked them three times "how could you possibly be out of lettuce. You know there is is a grocery store about 2 mi. down the road don't you?" Why am I paying full price?
They finally took $2 off my total. Still does not cut it. Lettuce is 1/3 what goes on a 12 pack of Taco's.
Go buy a couple freakin' heads of lettuce. Geez...............[xx(]0 -

I am just sick of the same old same old thing. Me and the Wife are alone this year(Hell Ya) all of her family is off somewhere else(Thank god) so I can do as I please.
I told her were are going to have shrimp boil and oysters for x-mas! A buddy drove up to VA last night and bought a bunch of oysters I put my order in and he brought me 2 pecks or so(62 I think) so I am going to fry some, eat a bunch raw and make oyster Rockefeller while drinking a pitcher of Bloodymarys[:p]
I always wanted to cook a Prime Rib but I am about the only one who eats red meat(I have a bunch of heath nuts around me).

Love Oysters, but the price is getting crazy. Taco meat is what is left after all the good cuts are gone. Close to glue meat. 0 -

I managed a slice of digornos self baked rising crust pizza and a vanilla soft ice-cream come with rainbow sprinkles and a handful of mini Reese's peanut butter cups
I figured I am dying anyway so why not have one good meal Christmas Eve...
I even pulled a bottle of tuttoria di montecchio Chianti classic vintners reserve barrel select red wine (1995) from firenze Italy
Still had the tax stamp and seal on it - one of the last Italian reds in my "cellar" and shared it with several people
Also drank a Jamaican red stripe
I am certain I will regret it greatly
I wonder what the wine was worth - it aged well and I cannot recall what I paid for it 23 years ago

Yep Mike, big house WAY back in the mtns. no TV, radio, cell service. Located in a county with one, count it, one red light. Good friends, deep cold weather, a good book or two, plenty of whatever one wants to eat/drink, atv?s/snow machines and, pretty much, isolation from the world in general. 0 -
