text 911

Apparently you can do this, Of course you're supposed to call if you can, but if you're in a situation that a phone call would alert the criminal, you can text 911 for an officer to respond. It's also useful for the hearing impaired.

Not all areas have it, I wasn't sure if mine did, but after a quick internet search it says it does . You may want to check yours just in case...
