This is a 12 gauge hollow point that has a 357 hollow point embedded in it. Look at the Carnage it comes

Basically a sabot round that sheds the sabot as it enters a target.

Did not catch if they were using a rifled barrel or not. Seems accuracy would be horrible without one.

A 45ACP hollow cavity with a 6MM starter blank glued backwards into the nose works wonders too. [:0][:p]

I would think it would have to be out of a rifled barrel, being said there's no riflings on the slide itself.

And yes it does kinda resemble a sabot round, but the Sabot would do some damage too, but only to soft tissue. I think because of the exterior is made of aluminum, it wouldn't do any damage2 bones...
