    my departed brother (RIP ) told me about the show long after it originally played . got me hooked on it
    now on Christmas day my sons will put it on the channel that plays it 24 hours for the day
    To me just a plain old funny classic movie .. I think because it comes so close to home for a lot of us old fellows [:D]

    Always liked Darren Mcgavin as an actor always seemed as someone you might like to know at the coffee shop. Christmas Story has become a classic a fitting end for his career. He will over time become familiar to minions

    Yep, there are three must watch movies leading up to Christmas; Die Hard (tonight), National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (tomorrow night), and A Christmas Story (Christmas Eve).

    Although I do like "a Christmas story", my 3 must watch at all cost Christmas Movies are the original "it's a good life", "Holiday inn" and the original "Scrooge"

    I just watched the the whole series of "nightstalkers" on YouTube a couple of months ago
