tying a new recipe tomorrow for supper... UPDATE
]It's a seafood pasta recipe (spaghetti). Thought I'd give it a try tomorrow, but I think I'll throw a little Old Bay brand seafood seasoning in the the sauce, plus through a bay leaf in the spaghetti when I'm cooking it to kick it up a notch. What else would you suggest to put in it besides what they have listed and my additions?

UPDATE:
Well I finally ate this tonight. I went and bought the stuff and took it over to a lady's house that I've been dating and fixed it for her, her son and I. It was really good, but it called for 3 cloves of garlic minced, and I think it would have been better with two or two and a half cloves. Not that it was way too much, but the garlic was a hair bit overpowering in the recipe... But they both said it was perfect, so who knows

That would be good, but I think it would be better with linguine or tortellini. Something just a little more robust then spaghetti.. but I do make a killer garlic cream sauce that I serve with tortellini and linguine... Tortellini is my favorite pasta
But this time I'm trying to find a tomato-based sauce to use...0 -

Well you're cooking with butter in this recipe, so EVOO wouldn't add anything.
It already calls for shallots, so it does have onions in it already. definitely on the mushrooms sauteed in butter, white wine and garlic...

Looks pretty good. I'd add some onion, sliced in half and the wide strips. 0 -

Kimi, I do really appreciate the suggestion though. Thank you0 -
Maybe some wild "ramps" from the woods in Springtime would add more of that onion flavor you are seeking![:D]
IMHO, your posted recipe should make for a very decent meal!0 -
I had spaghetti with clam sauce the other night. They sell a red or white sauce. In this case I went with the white. You just need to add extra clams as for me there are not enough of them in the sauce as sold. 0 -
Not sure I would add the Old Bay...the recipe seems to lean to a more delicate taste. The Cajun Spice might make the dish something less than intended...split the dish and try it. 0 -

Arby, whenever you post anything related to cooking, all I can think about is ROAST BEEF [:D][:D][:D][:o)][:0]0 -

It's better than Maalox posting to your cooking thread. [:0][B)][^]0
