I understand he is 2 years old and will be used a rehabilitation dog[:)] 0 -
on the news he is going to be reassigned to one of the military rehab hospitals ( I do not recall the name ) 0 -
My dog is funny. When I'm home all day he might nibble on his full bowl of food. When my wife gets home he will clean it out.
She says the first few days I'm away at work when she gets home and let's him out he goes running around the house to where I park looking for me.
When we leave he goes barrelling down stairs to the door we leave through. Excited to go with us. When we say "no bubba you stay home" his ears drop, his head sinks a little lower, his tail stops wagging, and generally looks like he's about to start bawling his eyes out. Saddest scene you've ever seen.
We take him with us everywhere we can. He can not and has not replaced my last two mutts Kayla and louden, a brother and sister combo born in my house. And I was the first to handle them right after momma cleaned them up.
But Bentley is a whole nother critter. He's got more attitude and personality then about any dog I've met. He has almost as many facial expressions as a person.
If rainbow bridge is real ( if there is an after life it damn well better be or I'm not going) and all my mongrels are on the other side waiting for me, it's going to be a hoot watching them all play together and driving me nuts all wanting attention at the same time.0 -
