Never knew, it was based on a 1957 Glenn Ford, Van Heflin, Felicia Farr movie. Watched the modern version an hour or so ago. Older one on now.


Never saw it. Interested to see the differences in the movie.

    The new one is much better, IMHO.

    Old one was not too bad though.

    I enjoyed it! Movie westerns have become quite rare these days and when one comes along, they always tug at my "gotta see" cords![:)]

    Russell Crowe & Christian Bale worked well together IMO.

    I spent my evening firing up my old VHS player watching "Silverado"[8D]
    A classic for all times![^]

    I didn't like the ending of the new one.

    I liked Glenn Ford as an actor, but I loved the gun work, and leather rigs used in the new movie.
