Great day yesterday
I have just a few days left in TX before we relocate to Florida.
My friend Ryan who I have known since 1997 and I went and shot a crazy USPSA Steel match in the morning, I was shooting lights out and it was very fun. Then we took our rifles out for some long range shooting.
This has never been my thing but I was able to get my Daniel Defense 16? bbl to consistently hit the target at 958 yards. At that range the bullet was dropping as much as my big Zeiss could compensate for and I didnt try any targets farther down range.It would hammer nails at 300 but that 110 grain bullet really started to drop after 600 and I ran out of adjustment to take it any farther.
Then we went back to my place and grilled prime ribeye?s on my big green egg, had some excellent bourbon and sat around a fire for a few hours.

Sounds like a great time. But I really thought this thread might be about hauling an illegal load of freight and dodging all of the scales..[;)] 0
