I agree 100%, UCF stayed with them. Woulda coulda shoulda... but if they would have had their starting QB, I think it would have been a different game.0 -

They did ok against the 2nd, 3rd, and WRs who ended up playing defense. I think if UCF had their starting qb against LSU's defensive starters it's a different game. 40-17 LSU[}:)]0 -

Certainly between injuries and ejections, the LSU secondary was running on empty. Hate to see all the ejections for targeting. I don't have an answer on how to avoid the injuries but Targeting has become too large of a part of NCAA football.0 -
The penalty for targeting is a joke! Kick' offenders out for at least one third of the season and the situation might get better. Right now I think there is more head hunting than there was before the current penalty regs began. Also, ensure that there is no camera time to watch offenders cheer lead their team and fans. 0 -
LSU had 548 yards of offense - 385 passing and 161 rushing.
UCF had 208 yards of offense - 78 passing and 130 rushing.
LSU's defense killed them worse than the score reflects.
LSU's QB J. Burrow was 21 of 34 passing with 4 TD's.
UCF is not much of a big time team if they depend on just one man. They need to put on their big boy pants if they're going to play in the big league and quit making excuses.0 -

They did not make any excuses to my knowledge. Their QB suffered a serious injury and missed the game. Had Burrow been absent, then I'm certain that people would have made note of his absence. As for beating big time opponents, they defeated Auburn a year ago today.0 -
