Oct. 21st the 13th annual halloween show will be held from 8:30 AM -4 PM at MILLER CROSSPOINTE MOTOR CARS. 3985 valley pike in Winchester Va.
rain date is oct. 28th. $15. entry fee. participant judging. this is TRUNK OR TREAT so bring some candy for the children. dash plaques to the first 150. top 35, best in show and top 5 creepiest vehicles.
ALL 1968 vehicles will be entered for a top 5 awards.
there will be awards for children and adults costumes

    I have owned maybe 10 + 67 - 69 camaros over my life ( and many more old muscle cars ) but camaros are my favorite
    I currently have two 69's I have hung on to one for about 12 years the other 40+ years
    we went to a mum craft show for teh wife but that have a car show also must have been 1000 cars there this was just is just a small town Tipp city Ohio my youngest sone told me they call it the biggest car show in Ohio
    for a small town thats not counting the big sponsored events they hold here in Ohio like the hot rod or good guys

    but tell us ( me ) about your camaro.
    i bought the 68 in 1972 as the third owner. it was a bare bones car with a 396/375 4 speed and 4:88 gears. the first owner (which I met)drove it off the lot and when home removed the engine and added some go fast goodies. he bought it strictly for racing.
    the engine went south on me in 1975 and just married the year before I had no money to get it back on the road. so it remained garaged for 36 years.
    in 2011 I started on it. 90% restoration
    today it sports a 540 horse 515 torque small block, Muncie 4 speed with gear vendor overdrive and 3:55 gears

    story sounds a bit familiar my oldest 69 ( one I have had 40 + years ) was a factory 396 car I blew the engine in 76 , local speed shop just traded with one already done ( so much for numbers matching [:(]) I stripped it down including most of the sheet metal about 25 years ago just keeps getting side tracked . now retired hope to get it back together
    I bought one about 12 years ago another 69 to help the itch of having a driving one
    its was just a plain jane that had been played with had a 396 and 350 turbo
    I put a 454 60 over 11 1/2 pistons and 600 lift cam 4:11 and muncie 4 speed just fun to drive its a copper color looks a lot like yours
