If the Democrats successfully Bork Kavanaugh
It will be the beginning of the end of the U. S. Supreme Court. This is the first time in my memory the Democrats have totally abandoned any and all pretense of honesty and adherence to their oath.
I?m not saying they were ever honest, but in the past they understood most of their party was so they were compelled to maintain the appearance of being honest Americans.
This isn?t an endorsement of the Republican Party, but I am proud of them for trying to maintain the appearance of honesty.

Just my opinion but I think the Republicans will vote him in, no Democrats will give him a vote and there will be big protests that will go South in a hurry. 0 -

As long as they got their way they were fat and happy. Likewise with the GOP. Thank God enough people rose up to stick it to both parties. Now we have them at great odds. As long as we keep them divided we might drain the swamp, but if not...well, we can cross that bridge when we come to it. 0 -

There are several Democratic senators that won't win reelection if Kavanaugh is NOT confirmed. They are close now but majority opinion these states will definitely go with Republican candidates if Kavanaugh isn't confirmed. Wouldn't surprise me if this was the strategy. They might go republican anyway.

You should go to a DEMOCRAT strategic planning meeting. Guarantee you will be shocked to see where they want to take us.

I would love to see the parties go away. Let each man or woman run on the merits of their beliefs and stance.
Make it where no candidate can spend more than 10K and all donations must be vetted and come from individual public citizens who are registered to vote and legal citizens.
No PACS, no Democrat or Republican, No Caucus, simply a man or woman who the PUBLIC support and vote for.
If I am not mistaken the Constitution can be changed by amendment. It takes a large majority but that is as it should be. So as times change the Constitution already gave us a process to alter the original by amendments as has been done.0 -

While I can agree with you on the end of political parties as we know them, names may change and parties may change but tenets and ideology will rarely if ever change.
The problem we have today is politicians are ideological oriented and it is their ideology governing how they legislate, rather than the will of their constituents.0 -

Either way the chasm between the two factions gets far worse than it is now...but that's what happens when people have the guts to fight back. The plus side would be for Kavanaugh to be confirmed...it will only cause more factions on his side to bond with one another and gain confidence in their cause. 0 -
The states need to band together and force some changes on Washington, starting with congress. First: Term limits for everybody based on years in federal service and age. Second: Require that the makeup of congress reflects that of the USA in terms of occupation / training (ie cut way back on the numbers of professional polliticians and lawyers in congress). Third: No political party affiliations allowed. 0 -
