FFL Charges? Really?

I've noticed that a lot of sellers on GB charge an FFL transfer fee for the sale of a gun. I get free transfers from my gun range just because I have a membership ($350 a year for my whole family). Hard to believe that these top sellers don't get better deals for FFL transfers and want $20 for each transfer. Sounds fishy to me. Another way to get a few more dollars out of the buyer.

Any of our sellers here can shed more light on this? Am I missing something?

    On top of shipping, and the shipping seller is an FFL, I agree that is a bogus fee. I've charged higher shipping if I had to use an FFL to ship to another FFL.
