All of my life I have enjoyed good beef and had to pay extra for the stuff that was corn fed.
It used to be advertised as the most tender (corn fed) that way and from my little bit of experience around cattle farmers I thought that was the best beef marketed. Was told they raised the cattle on the usual pasturelands, wintered on rich alfalfa hay, and about a month before slaughter were put on corn diets.
Now days I am kind of confused as I see everywhere beef advertised as only grass fed.[:0]
What has changed to make grass a tenderizer over corn?0 -

Why doesn't the corn have bacon wrap? is it under the husk so it won't burn? 0 -
Looks good! Of course I feed the corn to the beef first.[;)] 0
