I've always wondered,if the NRA is a strong supporter of the 2A,why are they always negotiating infringements towards it?

The NRA has to claim that they are in the red. The NRA has a lawsuit against Gov. Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Department of Financial Services, claiming that the state of NY has caused "irrecoverable loss and irreparable harm" to the organization. The NRA claims that the State of NY has interfered with its business by coercing insurance agencies, banks, airlines and other businesses into terminating their relationships with the NRA.

I'd say that those claims are valid. The question is, what will the judge have to say?

If the suit takes place in NY.NY. its all over. If the NRA can have the venue moved to an area out of the city then they may have a chance, maybe a chance.

But taking on a 800 pound gorilla that has a hemorrhoid problem and is bleeding cash also, well who will last the 12 rounds.

That is the playbook of the libs now and as long as we play the reaction fight, spend oodles of cash defending instead of having legislation passed or degrading laws that should never have passed anyway, then the time will come, and ammunition is on the table.

A few more years after some libtard buys the lead mines around the world, maybe china, then push the price up to unobtaineum, happening now, then copper, carbon tax, gunpowder, primers, the list goes on.

I will say that some States are proactive, but the Senate, the Congress, need to get proactive instead of reactive. When the oldest generation of Republicans go and it is happening now then all bets are off. That goofy nancy polesy will never leave she will grow mold on her ass waiting to be POTUS or SCOTUS or have a canoe named after her.

Unfortunately the shooting sports, and sportsmanlike hunting are dying activities.

There are more and more CCW holders, but these are largely just regular schmoes that are afraid for their safety. They by and large have no interest or concern over the second amendment, and don't belong to any gun rights organizations, nor will they. Heck,...a lot of them are even Libs.

I'm not a big NRA fan, but I do still belong and send them a little extra once in awhile. For informational purposes, I also belong to GOA, and SAF as well.

Those of us that believe in the 2nd. as written, are becoming fewer and fewer by the year.

Like other orgs that rely on voluntary memberships and donations. The NRA needs to spend to keep thier status. Like others here have stated.

    +1

I get a whole gaggle of renewal notices and most of them are AFTER I have already renewed.

AND I finally got sick of the NRA's gun insurance underwriter charging a large processing fee to renew gun insurance. Paying someone a process fee to work at what they are already getting paid for. Almost got disgusted enough to cancel my NRA Membership.
When I complained to them they wanted me to call them SO AS THEY COULD TELL ME WHY. I already know WHY, I was not born yesterday.[:(!]
    Come on people.

Due to the lack of support of gun owners you are going to see a lot more in trouble. You will not be able to get insurance on your collection and you won't be able to get self defense insurance but hey they might have failed to fully and unconditionally support the second too!

Next you won't be able to deposit a check for selling a gun or use a credit card to buy one. And then of course when the grabbers see we have no unity they will pass laws telling you that you can't own them, and we will all either bury them or give em up. America gone to hell

Another failed bureaucracy. Thankfully now the real gun rights advocates may see an uptic in members.

On the same note, they need to go after planned parenthood the same way.

The color pink was chosen "because pink is associated with femininity," the Pussyhat Project posted on its website. "We did not choose the color pink as a representation of some people?s anatomy. Anyone who supports women?s rights is welcome to wear a Pussyhat. It does not matter if you have a vulva or what color your vulva may be. If a participant wants to create a Pussyhat that reflects the color of her vulva, we support her choice."

Seen on the news few days ago, (world news, NOT FAKE NEWS, that Switzerland does not have any problems with fruitcakes shooting up people and places.

News said everyone has to serve some time in the military, they are issued a gun and they get to keep the gun forever.
To buy a gun they pass a background check, too make sure they are not a fruitcake or a felon, and since everyone has guns, no problems in schools, church, etc.

OMG: Is them Democrats WRONG again?

Now we know why the NRA caps and other gimmicks were/are made in China [V] Ask them how much of our money was spent on such in China then ask them how much financial support they receive out of China......any answer other than "0" is a lie [;)]

If it is a NYC judge he will laugh at the claim, no matter how well proven. Cuomo is pure evil, corrupt to his soul.

if they can destroy the NRA, all the rest of the pro gun orgs will also be elimanted by the same methods None of them can exist without day to day cash flow. Could be real ugly not only for the NRA but all legal responsible forearm owners too.

No no. That won't happen. These financial strangulation methods are only being used because the NRA doesn't fight for the 2A in a manner quite strident enough.

Once they are gone, the gun grabbers will return to their book clubs and chess matches... won't they?

How's that lifetime membership looking? You members need to drain the NRA Swamp. You guys are just as guilty as the lib gun grabbers. NRA is as corrupt as any other "didn't earn their money" entities.

In 2015, LaPierre took home $5.1 million while he handed over our rights.

The most recent IRS Form 990 (2013) reveals that ten key executives received $7.7 million dollars in 2013:

Wilson H. Phillips, Jr. Treasurer $2,869,611

Wayne LePierre CEO and Executive $ 984,182

Chris W. Cox Executive Director ILA $ 828,656

Tyler Schropp Executive Director, Advancement $ 553,784

    Edward J. Land, Jr. Secretary $ 462,914

Robert K. Weaver Executive Director, General Ops $ 452,656

Robert Marcario Managing Director $ 420,288

David Lehman Deputy Executive Director, ILA $ 409,803

Michael Marcellin Managing Director $ 370,154

James Baker Director, ILA Federal $ 336,108

What else do you expect from a liberal troll with Trump derangement syndrome? They all suffer from cognitive dissonance.

I don't know what that CEO was up too.

I just wanted to show only one facet of how members hard earned money is spent on the liberal non profit called NRA. The records are public as any non profits.

If you donate to red cross, it is estimated that 80% goes to administration, and 20% goes towards helping someone.

NRA is right up there as is any larger non profit corporation. Those in power vote themselves raises, just like big guberment. They have no trouble spending YOUR money on stupid chit.
