    Local churches here have been doing active hooter drills for a long time.

    BIL told me not long ago in his church that there's probably 25 or more that carry and coordinate themselves throughout the sanctuary every Sunday morning.
    They keep their eyes open and are constantly at the ready.
    They watch ANYONE that is new with intent.

    It's bad when a "sanctuary" has to be watched like a warzone.

    nothing wrong with being prepared...bet there are scouts among the watchers ...they participated before the scouts were torn down into a politically correct shell of what they used to be

    Local church is considering locking to outside doors once the service starts. Ushers either open the doors and let people in or confront the person outside.

    Of course the doors are glass and can be shot out.

    Ushers inside the sanctuary would also ml have communication and lock the oak doors if necessary. The possession of concealed weapons would be limited.

    2 Ushers in the sanctuary man's the doors.
    2 in the foyer and 2 at the door.

    Emergency exit through the front is being cleared of junk storage.
