    I think it's pretty awesome that he completed all three jumps in one afternoon, on an old tech bike. He's got some serious cojones.

    As to the Snake River jump, I don't see him becoming an astronaut over that. [;)]

    The three jumps he accomplished yesterday go as far back as 1967. In each instance, he set a record beyond what Knievel did. [^]
    [:D]...I confess, you got me. I saw his wife on TV too and don't think he's that big of a fool to be retiring from "humping" that, motorcycles, yes....her, no way [;)]

    After the final jump, "Pastromi's" wife was shown pointing and I can imagine her comments to the children were "Look kids, Daddy didn't get killed".

    I can't imagine thinking so little of parents, spouse, or kids that one would do such things.

    Would that also apply to law enforcement, fire fighters, astronauts, Navy Seals, Army Rangers, US Marines, et.al in the military, as all of those folks serve BECAUSE THEY CHOOSE TO!

    And don't forget those who climb mountains, cave explorers, deep sea dive, fly airplanes, drive vehicles, play sports, etc. as many in those ventures die annually too.[:0]
