Its a quarter to three,there's no one in the joint

Up taking the second half of the prep for my 9 A.M. colonoscopy...very quiet....for the time being[:p]

Right now I'm so hungry I could eat the crotch out of a dead horse...

    I sympathize - I have a series of follow up appointments early this morning...

    Blood draws and lab work (I think maybe 6-7 viles mostly red tops) followed by a consult with the oncologist at the hospital

    And a visit / consult with the surgeon in the office complex filled with - dedicated to health care and doctors and such

    Fasting as well - no food or drink since 7:00 pm last night

    Doesn't really affect or bother me any more but I feel your pain - been there and done that and have the T-shirt

    Always a fun time at the medical centers. I'm still trying to save my infected leg from being amputated but it is a real struggle. I managed to get about 2 hours sleep in the last 30 hours or so. Hope to pass out soon despite the pain level.


    Good luck to you with your procedure and hope they find all is clean as a whistle. I am overdue for one myself.

    No big deal. There was a TV screen showing what was going on. Pretty good cameras in the tip. They see something and take a snip of the item so they could check for cancer or ???.

    Kind of neat, never thought my colon would be of interest.[:D]

    I would be one happy camper if I had to have colonoscopy. Two years ago lost my entire colon to c dif. Started off with a stoma and pouch, about seven months ago being on the lucky side I was reconnected. A reconnect is small intestine connected directly to the exhaust outlet. Doesn?t matter whether pouch or reconnect it is an entirely different life style. Yes I would happy as you can get if I had to have a colonoscopy
