.45 cal Muzzle loader - percussion.
Circa 1890 Hunter Arms (LC Smith) SxS 12 gauge Damascus barreled side hammer with unique barrel opening mechanism.
Both have been in the family since new.0 -

I have my maternal grandfathers Browning Auto 5 shotgun that if I recall correctly he purchased in 1947.
My second oldest brother has our fraternal grandfathers Savage 99 combination/takedown in 300 Savage/410 bore. No one in the family up in Maine when he passed away knew where the case for it went. For all we know he tossed it in one of the barns. We believe it was purchased in the early 30s but cannot be certain.0 -

Springfield trapdoor # 825XX. I used to know what year it was made, but my memory is slowly fading.
Looks like it might be 1877.
This is weird. The final observed serial number for 1876 is 74,215 and the final observed serial number for 1877 is 94,000. What's weird is that only 16 rifles were produced in 1877.

Made in 1860 I have a .31 caliber revolver (percussion) Union Arms by W.W. Marston . It is factory engraved and looks similar to the Colt Pocket revolver of that time period.
I had an Eley Whitney Model 1812 Flint lock musket but sold that a couple years back.0 -
My nomenclature may be a little off but I believe it's a US Model 1816 musket (flintlock) and bayonet, with the lock dated 1829. A wall hanger in family room.
I also have what I'm told is a European flintlock officer's pistol that's supposedly circa 1790? but it's unmarked so not certain when it was made. Also a wall hanger.
The oldest gun I shoot is a Winchester 1873, second model made in 1881, 44 WCF (44-40).0 -

I think that both of my Whitney-Kennedy rifles, plus my Remington-Keene rifle were all made in 1883. 0 -

Currently, it is the Winchester Model 04 Single Shot 22 Rifle that my parents had and gave me on my 8th Birthday. Best date on it would be prior to 1920; they bought it used when they got married.

Smith Model 1917, waiting on letter but made 1917-1920. Remington 1911, made 1917. Also have a Win. Model 94, made 1946, my birth year. A number of military hand guns made WWII era. Also have a Cresset made double hammer sxs with the name New York Arms. circa 1900. 0 -

I have the gallery version of the Winchester model 62. I can't remember the year and it is to far back in the safe 0 -
I own my maternal grandfather's 1st year production 1897 Winchester, that makes it 123 years old. Family lore has it that he recieved the gun as payment from the neighbor for helping him shell corn in the 1930's. 0 -
I have a GEW88 commission rifle dated 1890. It has been converted to the 8MM Mauser round and according to some of the experts here was used by the Turks at some point. 0 -

I have an original German Potsdam Musket, made in 1821, and converted from flint to percussion in 1844. Some were briefly used by federal troops in the war, mostly in state volunteer units. It's 72 cal smoothbore, and I just shot it in a N-SSA skirmish.
I've only had it a few weeks, bought it a shop I stopped in while on vacation.0 -
