Antique Finnish Mosin M39 1944 VKT Unissued No FFL
Not sure if this person understands how the antique status works. I wonder that about most that are here. Pre-1889 gun are NOT ALL ANTIQUES!!! And this one for SURE is not even close.

    That makes it "Antique" status, even the ones refurbed in 1968 that have a pre 1/1/1899 tang date code. The barrel date only shows when it was made into an M-39.

    I bought a Finn Mosin many years ago that was retail, what his starting price is now. One of those guns I could kick myself for letting go of cheap.

    No, pre-1899 guns are legal antiques under Federal law.
