Good day at the range
Took two friends to the Skeet range this morning. One first timer and the other for his 2nd visit. Noob busted his 4th bird and only missed a few after that, but not many (Engineers can be like that. Tell them what to do and they do it). 2nd timer did far better than his first time, busting 8 in a row. Both showed up the 'teacher'.
Took the noob to an amazing gun store (Guns Galore for the local guys) where he found a nice left handed Benelli M2 that he might be going back to buy. I scored two lbs of Varget so my 223 target rifle will be happy.

Well, I finally made it to the range and got to play with a few of my toys. I successfully zeroed in my 10/22 with the new stock and the scope that was so generously given to me by Allen. after messing with it for a while was able to put about 15 shots right in the X ring. Had lots of fun with that, specially considering it was the first rifle I ever shot with a scope and my first attempt at zeroing anything.
Took the SKS out and only put 10 rounds through it. It didn't eject and I didn't feel like messing with it, so I kept shooting the .22. Anyone have any clue why it wouldn't eject? I took it apart when I got home and didn't see anything that would be keeping it from cycling.
My buddy took his AR-15 and I got to shoot it. Had lots of fun with that one and I defenitely have to put one of those on my "need to buy" list. All in all it was a good day except for the SKS...but at least it will give me something to do when I sit down with it and look it over for any problems.

.410 I shoot a Browning Citori. 28 ga I shoot a Ruger Red Label. 20 ga. I shoot a Benelli Ethos, & the same model Benelli for 12 ga. Those Benelli's are very nice shooting firearms. 0
